David's origional songs are often in the stlye of John Prine, Rambling Jack Elliott, Billy Joe Shaver, Guy Clark, Steve Earl,
and Townes Van Zadt. His extensive repertoire of over 500 songs includes origional and traditional music plus the music of Jimmy Buffett
and Utah P. Phillips, with a pinch of the pop, rock and country of the Eagles, Eric
Claptom, Garth Brooks, The Grateful Dead, Van Morrison and other modern and traditional word‑smiths and musicians.
